I was seen in an appointment by Dr Wong at Abernethy House Surgery on 17 August. It was an urgent appointment and I was slightly apprehensive about what the outcome of the appointment would be. Dr Wong discussed my symptoms with me in detail and explained clearly possible causes. He carried out the physical examination in a considerate manner. He took time to answer my questions including questions about the medications. He arranged further diagnostic tests and explained to me why those tests would be needed. I am out of the country in September and he made a note about my availability so that necessary follow-ups can be arranged when I am in the country. Whilst the findings of my blood test caused me some concern Dr Wong's interpretation of the result and his decision that I should have another blood test proved to be correct. His questions about my health, diet and habits were thorough. The second test result showed that my renal function was in fact normal and I did not have anything to worry about. From P.J.
